Beasts of the Sea and Noriko Yoshida

It's been dead, quiet, silent, and still for days. The lack of updates is unreal. For weeks it felt like we were all on a roller-coaster ride and now, the ride is over and the park has closed.

That being said, I came across something today that I hadn't seen anywhere else. I'm sure everyone looked up Noriko Yoshida and came across the Kobe University site - but did anyone else notice this? This might fall into the category of "No shit Sherlock", but I digress. With nothing new coming in...if you hadn't heard it, it's news to you.

1-18-08truth.com pointed out that the Kobe site has an image (see left). The writing at the bottoms translates to "The Beasts of the Sea" - Interesting, right? I also noticed that the URL for Noriko's site has NY in it: http://ccs.cla.kobe-u.ac.jp/GenBun/ny/ny.html

Japan, New York, Beasts of the Sea? Yeah, it's all connected. I also looked at the picture of Noriko herself and there are books on the shelves behind her. One is "pissarro et la ville" another one reads "Make Trouble" - and other various text I can't read. By the way, the image of Noriko is titled ny.jpg

Does anyone think this site is connected for real? I think it really might be even though I'm sure it's already been shot down a million times. I can't help it, I'm bored.

NY stands for Noriko Yoshida... not New York... The name of the photograph is something normal. Yes, we're bored. We need some new stuff...

i noticed the "beasts of the sea" connection a while ago, and i do think this site is connected to the movie. any idea what pissarro is or means? i know pissarro was a painter, and it's not a french word, but the rest of that sentence translates to "..and the city," so if we can figure out what pissarro is, we might have something.

I don't feel it's all that weird that NY is in the source, since those are her initials... but I don't know, maybe that's just one more clue?

Well, according to what I see in the registration...it is Japanese...which really doesn't help us much at all, does it? Except it's not a US site posing as a JP site...

I doubt whether this site is connected.

NY is for Noriko Yoshida.
According Wayback machine is the the homepage first saved in February 2007
http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://ccs.cla.kobe-u.ac.jp/GenBun/ny/ny.html

She research France literature and Japanese influence at European Literature and Culture. Matisse was very impressed by Japanese Culture, so his works are sometimes made in style of Japonisme. That's why this scientist posted this link between Japan and Europe on her Homepage.

I think so... But the Power of Viral Marketing is great. Who knows...

Personally, i think this is part of the "game". There's a few things, including the image posted on the front of the page, that suggest this. The directory and the page are titled "ny", and the entire format does not make sense.

Why put a personal page, or bio page here? IF you back down you'll see this page: http://ccs.cla.kobe-u.ac.jp/GenBun/

None of it really seems to gel?

just wanted to let the guy that runs this site know that the slusho site has been updated with new quotes at happy talk and that "There are no new characters, but one interesting note in the code is that the Jellyfish has been renamed to SQUID"<------quoted from the clover field clues site
